Shenila Hill Rodriguez

Shenila is responsible for managing the relationships between mentees and mentors in in all of Pathbuilders’ programs, supporting these important pairings to ensure goals are met and that each is successful. An accomplished corporate and community leader, Shenila has held senior IT leadership positions with major corporations, including BellSouth, Travelport, Fiserv and CommScope. She has also served as an IT consultant specializing in major transformational change initiatives. Her clients have included Pacific Gas & Electric, Fiserv and the United States Department of Transportation. Shenila is extensively engaged in the civic and nonprofit community. A Delta Sigma Theta Sorority alumnae at Johnson C. Smith University, she has served in leadership roles for the organization at both the local and national levels. She is a member of the Azalea City, Georgia, chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and currently serves on the Health and Human Services Facet. A 2014 graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, Shenila served on the board of the Leadership Gwinnett Foundation from 2014–2018. She holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Master of Science in technology management and a Doctor of Philosophy in organization and management with a specialization in leadership. Additionally, she holds the Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute and is a certified speaker with the John Maxwell Team. Shenila received an Outstanding Georgia Citizen award from the Georgia Secretary of State in 2013. Other honors include the Community Activist award from the Metro Atlanta Bennett College Alumni Association in 2013 and a Patriotic Employer Award in 2015 from the United States Department of Defense.
