Allan DeNiro
Allan is a C-suite-level builder of teams and businesses, as well as a keynote speaker, author and past board member. He is the founder and non-executive chairman of New Century Partners, Inc., an Atlanta-based company that serves as a private advisor exclusively to CEOs and company owners on strategic, mission-critical initiatives in sales, marketing and all aspects of human resources. He was Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for 15 years for Havertys Furniture Companies, Inc., an Atlanta-based retailer with 124 stores in 17 states. Allan has direct prior experience across a wide range of industries in general management, sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, human resources and administration. His long history of active community and social involvement includes serving as a volunteer, mentor or board member for various businesses and nonprofit organizations, including Emory University’s Executive Women of Goizeuta, Mary Hall Freedom House and DiversiTech Manufacturing Company. He has also served as a mentor in the Pathbuilders Achieva® program. Allan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from Bowling Green State University and has completed the Columbia School of Business Executive Program. He is a graduate of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2008. In 2010, Allan received the first-ever Emory Business School “Bridge Award” for his notable efforts in developing women leaders and in lending counsel to their organizations.
